L’Abbraccio di Willi

First of all, I’m a really big fan of yours! I recently found you on Youtube and I was so enthusiastic and thrilled by all the exciting journeys you did, it just blows my mind and I instantly knew “I WANT TO DO THE SAME!” I was even more excited when you wrote me back.

You see, I’ve always dreamed about travelling around the world, to learn more about the people, culture and just to see the awesome beauty of our world. This is such a great way to live life!

So here are some questions I want to ask you to prepare myself better for this adventure. I’m trying to keep it short and simple,

I wondered how you manage to get a visa for every country you are crossing. Are you doing that after you planned your route or how is that possible?

I also want to ask about the financing. Like you already mentioned at Youtube, you are working your way around but how exactly are you doing this? Are you earning your money with temporary jobs and asking around for help or how is that working? Doesn’t the transportation of your bike costs a lot of money? (Australia/New Zealand)

And just out of curiosity, how do you keep your money? Do you always keep it with you? And what about the different currencies? I imagine it’s very difficult to have always the local currency in your pocket.

In one of your videos I saw that your bike didn’t start. What are you doing when your engine isn’t working? Can you fix all issues by yourself or do you need to push it then to the next garage?

Last question… Do you still have an own home in Italy or are you “homeless”? And where are you staying right now?

Okay, I think that’s all of the basic stuff I want to know. Thank you very much that you take the time to answer it. I really don’t wanna stop you from new adventures 😉

Yours sincerely, Willi from Germany
